About Cylinx
We build AI tools that help small medical practices fight back against insurance claim denials. Because the practices that treat patients shouldn't also have to fight insurance companies alone.
The Problem We're Solving
Insurance companies increasingly use automated systems to deny and downcode medical claims. Initial denial rates reached nearly 12% in 2024 — up from around 10% just a few years earlier — and the average denied claim costs a practice $25 to $118 to rework manually. For small practices with limited staff, the math is brutal: most denials go uncontested simply because there aren't enough hours in the day to fight them all.
The irony is that over half of denied claims are overturned when appealed, and for prior authorization denials the success rate exceeds 80%. Yet fewer than 1% of denials are ever challenged. That gap represents billions in lost revenue across the US healthcare system — and it falls hardest on the small, independent practices that form the backbone of community healthcare.
Our Approach
RediClaim uses AI to do what practice staff don't have time for: analyze denial reasons against clinical documentation, identify the strongest appeal arguments, and generate complete, payer-specific appeal letters in seconds instead of hours. We also catch potential denials before they happen with pre-submission claim scrubbing, and identify coding optimization opportunities that practices might otherwise miss.
We're not trying to replace billing staff. We're giving them tools that make the impossible manageable — turning a stack of denied claims from an administrative nightmare into a revenue recovery opportunity.
